Stacie Wight

Born and raised in Southern California, Stacie started with horses at a young age. Not from a horse family, Stacie had to work hard for her showing.   She showed extensively as a youth in OPEN, AQHA, and APHA competition receiving many awards and All-Around titles. With horses as her passion, Stacie attended Los Angeles Pierce College studying Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine. After college and starting a family, she continued to work with Professional Horsemen, including June Tabor, Kathy and George Ferrante and many more, to further her training knowledge.

SS Performance Horses training program is dedicated to helping you reach your greatest potential with your horse. Stacie’s philosophy is to work towards the highest level in the industry, therefore, the program is tailored to meet the individual needs of both horse and rider. She works toward discovering a horse's strengths and enhancing them, during which time she also helps the rider to improve his/her, own skills. The SSPH program strives to help clients reach their individual goals while having fun. It takes true dedication and commitment to make a great team, whether you are preparing for the show ring or just learning to ride.

SSPH serves the All-Around horse and rider, where we believe in effective communication, highlighted in the multi discipline training program, specializing as a western trainer but also caters to many clients whom wish to show and ride at their leisure.

Over her first years as a professional, Stacie set out to develop an honest and reliable barn that maintained an enjoyable client experience and enjoys competition in a relaxed atmosphere.   An honest approach to horse ownership is a core value to Stacie and she is always ready to share her experience and knowledge. Stacie and SS Performance Horses provide full service training and showing program that is capable and versatile to meet any client’s needs.

Stacie invites you to visit our friendly family atmosphere at Hansen Dam Horse Park and enjoy the love of horses.
